General information about our rooms

The rooms are divided in Casa do Valle (the standard rooms) and Casa da Vista (the superior rooms). They are in different buildings: standard rooms on the top of the property, superior rooms in the bottom of the property. As we are on the mountain, the terrain is inclined and there are many outside steps.  Due to the inclination, our rooms have direct access to the outside.

All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower (all but one are ensuite), wooden floors and a spacious closet. Some rooms allow for an extra bed or a baby cot. The rooms are equipped with a hairdryer in the bathroom, mini-fridge, toaster, and a water kettle; there is also coffee/tea/sugar in each room. Everything you might need for a late or early cup of something hot.

In addition, we have a fully equipped guest kitchen and a bar-b-que area in the garden to prepare a full meal and relax in the property.

Double or Twin Casa do Valle Standard room – either with one large bed or two individual beds. Some rooms allow for a child’s bed or a cot. Two of the rooms share the outside door and are thus suitable for a family.

All rooms have a private, not-shared, bathroom, and all but one of them are en-suite. Some rooms have a balcony, some direct access to a patio – all have their own outside furniture.

Some of the rooms do also take a dog – and we have a kennel as well. Please leave a comment on the form so we can indicate the best room(s) for you.

3 of the 7 standard rooms have a fireplace. If you would like a room with fireplace, please send us a message. In case of availability, we will assign it to you.

This double room with a sofa bed is on the garden level. The sofa bed is what is used for an extra bed in this room – once opened is 140cm wide and can sleep two children or one adult. The room has a spacious walk-in closet.

Casa da Vista rooms are on the bottom of the property. They all have a wall-to-wall window to the views and a wooden deck with private outside furniture directly in front of the room. All rooms can either be made with a queen bed or twin beds and are suitable for extra beds and a baby cot.

The suite has a bedroom separate from the living area, which has a kitchenette and a sofa-bed. The sofa-bed is what is used as an extra bed for this room type – once opened, the sofa-bed is 160cms wide. The suite can connect with a superior double room.
