Though most of our groups are active: yoga retreats, hiking groups, and mountain bikers, we also have other special interest groups, like artists or people coming to celebrate special birthdays.

Following is some basic information of what you can expect for your group at Casa do Valle. In the end you will find a form that you can fill out to request more specific information for you and your group! We would love to have you come stay with us!

Capacity: The natural capacity in our 11 rooms is 22 persons, but with extra beds, we can comfortably host up to 27 adults. Our dining and meeting area is a glass conservatory that comfortably seats 20 people. Our car park has space for up to 8 cars or 12 motorcycles comfortably.

Planning your experience: Our friendly, multi-lingual team is local and experienced in organizing events. We can help you plan everything from transfers to meals to activities, in and around Casa do Valle and Sintra. We work with several trustworthy companies and experience providers and can tailor make your event to fit your group like a glove. Clique here for examples of types of activities we suggest.

Each one of our groups has a dedicated team member to help organize and assure the smooth running of the stay.

The Space: The lush garden has nooks and corners as well as open spaces. There is a fully equipped guest kitchen and a bar-b-cue area. The conservatory is where we serve our buffet breakfast for the groups – and it can be equipped for meetings with a projector and a screen. A 6m x 12m (19,5ft x 39ft) event-tent can be erected on the hard-wood deck of the large lawn that lends itself well for larger meetings or yoga etc. The large lawn is also perfect for activities without the tent.
