Mountain and road biking are both popular sports in Sintra.  There are many tracks all over Sintra: mountain, seaside, and countryside – of different levels of difficulty. Unfortunately not many are marked.

The different bike rental companies have, in addition to the equipment, maps, guides and services available, and they specialize in certain types of cycling.
